Mayfly Satchel

Based on one of Chapman’s heritage fishing bag designs, the Mayfly is an ideal everyday shoulder bag, a style again increasingly popular with women who need to have hands free! The bag features easy open/close magnetic fastenings with adjustable buckles, a removable interior zipped purse for transferring your essentials in one go and a leather adjustable shoulder strap, offset so as not to discomfort or mark your shoulder. The interior also features seam tape in contrast colours. Our bonded cotton canvas is waterproof and also treated with a water repellent coating. The Mayfly is available in Black, Navy, Purple, Olive Green and Khaki. Like all Chapman bags, the Mayfly is made in our Cumbrian workshops.

Tweed Crossbody Saddle Bag

The Tweed Saddle Bag is a perfect cross body style for everyday use. The bag is made using tweed woven in the Borders, which is laminated to British dyed cotton (producing a weatherproof finish), with a full leather flap, adjustable leather shoulder strap, adjustable magnetic clasp and a leather trimmed interior zip pocket. The bag is available in two colourways: Green Border Tweed (pink and orange checks) with tan leather; and Black Border Tweed (blue check) with navy leather.

The Lady’s Leather Saddle Bag is a perfect cross body style for everyday use. The bag is made using 2 different kinds of the highest quality vegetable tanned leather and is available in Black, Brown, Navy and Tan. The black and brown versions are made using a rich, glossy leather. The tan and navy versions are made using leather with a less glossy finish.
