Armoy rugby club will be losing the services of tight head prop Mark Donald for a while.

Mark has been selected to represent Northern Ireland at the commonwealth games Judo and will be travelling to Cardiff to take part.Mark is a black belt and a member of the Causeway Judo club in Ballymoney where he also serves as a coach. Although Mark is actually a Londoner it is rumoured around the club that he qualified to represent Northern Ireland due to the vast amounts of champ he consumes being a strict vegetarian. On a serious note everyone assosiated with Armoy RFC wish Mark well and look forward to his return to us hopefully as a champion. As a fiiting good bye Mark also pitched in with a farewell try against Inishowen yesterday which takes his seasons total up to 4. Not bad for a front row player.
