The fan campaign was launched at the first Round of the HSBC Sevens World Series on the Gold Coast, Australia, and is a Series-long competition for fans at all nine international Sevens’ tournaments. Fans in Wellington can enter to not only be named as the fan of the Hertz Sevens but also be in with the chance of being named as the Fan of the Series.
With the first three tournaments setting the standard and selecting their winners who will go on to compete for the accolade of being crowned the ultimate #SevensFan, New Zealand fans will now take on the challenge this weekend. With Wellington fans renowned for their fancy dress efforts and support of Rugby Sevens, the Hertz Sevens is sure to produce some fantastic and competitive #SevensFan entries.

The lucky winner of the overall campaign who is crowned Fan of the Series will win a VIP trip for four to a tournament of their choice, choosing from any of the HSBC Sevens World Series tournaments across five different continents – Gold Coast (Australia), Dubai, Port Elizabeth (South Africa), Wellington, Las Vegas, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Glasgow and London.
During the Hertz Sevens this weekend, fans can submit photos of themselves at the Sevens via Instagram, Twitter or Facebook. By using the hash tag #SevensFan fans will automatically enter themselves into the Wellington round of the competition. All imagery uploaded will be aggregated to the official IRB Sevens World Series official Facebook page (www.facebook.com/irbsevens) and fans are encouraged to share this with their friends.
