The Presidents Night will be held in the clubhouse on Saturday 20th February from 7pm. Entry is by ticket only costing £7.50 and includes a light supper. Tickets can be purchased by contacting the club President Mr Stephen Eachus, or club steward Terry Atcheson and everyone is welcome.
Throughout the years of his involvement Ards Rugby Club Stephen has organised the complete repainting of the clubhouse, both inside and out, with club volunteers. He can regularly be found on a Tuesday evening cooking a light supper of pasta or stew for the players after training
He came through the clubs colts Youth system before they had the Youth section and played and captained the 1st XV. As well as being a keen rugby player Stephen also turned his skills to football winning a cup winners medal in 1993 playing for Bangor against Ards in the Irish Football Cup Final that year.
He is very much a hands on president and still coaches Youth Rugby at the club and turns out for lower teams when ever possible.
People like him are like hens teeth nowadays, a really good guy so please support this event.
