Another home win for the 19s
The under 19s took to the field against Ballyclare in near perfect conditions for an open running game.
The homeside came out of the blocks with all guns blazing moving the ball through both forwards and backs to gain the advantage.
Ballyclare at the break downs showed there metal and their well drilled pack drove and rucked Ards off the ball time and time again and it was only pressure in defence that caused the visitors to make mistakes which Ards then took advantage of. This led to 3 quick tries from Ards.

With this buffer Ards took their foot off the peddle this was a mistake so early on in the game as Ballyclare came back with a score from a quick penalty and a slick backs move which saw the home side at sixes and sevens.
Ards regrouped at half time and started to put the hard yards in going toe to toe at times with the strong ballyclare pack.
Ards moved the ball through the hands of the backs seeing the tries come but Ballyclare answered each score with a score. Until the ards forwards crashed over for a try then the backs follow suit.
There was some great displays from jack coulter and jack Matthews Connor Kerr and mark docherty in the forwards.
Nico Espania adam Barlow and Jamie Johnson worked well in the backs causing problems every time they got the ball.
