We are pleased to report that U-15 players Joel DePledge and Patrick Clarke are joining the Ulster Regional Development Squad at the end of the month.
Both have excelled in their appearances this year and fully deserve their opportunities. Some achievement as both are in their first full season of league rugby and have superb potential. Joel has an exceptional boot and the full skill set for either fly half or inside centre. Patrick has drawn plaudits from the opposition in virtually every game from blind side and No 8 with his game awareness, crunching tackles and eye for the try line. Selection for the younger U-15 players is to take place shortly and we hope to have some further good news in the near future.
