Ards Youth Rugby producing Ulster players!
Ards RFC U17 player Oliver Glenn completed the interprovincial series for Ulster U18 Youth with an away trip to Musgrave Park in Cork to play Munster.
Oliver is now looking forward to rejoining the Ards squad full time for the season ahead.
Another Ards Youth player, Rhys Hedley, has been named in this season’s Ulster Youth U17 squad, with the prospect of
representative honours to aim for also 12 months from now.
In addition,there are a number of other players in the current U17 squad that we think may catch the eye of the selectors over the coming months.
Youth Rugby at Ards RFC is held on Monday & Wednesday evenings (training) from 7.00pm to 8.30pm with matches on Saturday mornings.
Anyone from Year 8 to Upper 6th is welcome to call down and introduce themselves, whether an experienced player or totally new to the sport.
