This week Sligo RFC visit Hamilton Park for an AIL clash! Newly promoted Sligo who are seven points ahead of Ards in the League will be arriving as confident favourites for this encounter, but Ards Head Coach Mervyn Tweed will have different ideas as he continues to prepare his squad. Towns Cup

The Second XV will be in Cup Action at Armagh this Friday Night. Why not travel to the Orchard County and give them all the support you can! The Second team management are confident they have together a strong side for this competition. There is a good balance of Youth and Experience with several of the older hands already committed to playing. Ards Ladies Prepare for Cup Action

The ladies squad are also working hard as they prepare for their next match on Sunday, when Newry Travel to Ards in the first round of the cup. There has been a great turnout at training over the past few weeks, and Ian Caughey is pleased with the development of the squad, but emphasises the point that they must be well prepared if they are to progress in the cup competition. U19 League Cup Drawn

Local derby and old rivals to play in league section of the cup. Ards under 19s have been drawn in group two and face local rivals Malone, Clogher Valley, and Larne. Ards have met the Malone side twice this season coming off second best both times. Clogher Valley have been the bogey side for Ards youth over the past few years meeting them 3 time in semi finals and losing twice. Larne being the dark horses this year.
