The players, parents and coaches of Ards mini rugby finally had their end of season party on Sunday past, the weather held good and the kids enjoyed the gladiator duel inflatable, a kicking competition, music and barbq.
Awards winners were as follows:
Coaches Player of Year: P1 – Ben Scandrell, P2 – Finlay Mayne, P3 – Max Hughes, P4 – Blake Mullan, P5 Ethan Barrett, P6 – Jamie Brookes, P7 – Connor Law.
Player’s Player of Year: P1-3 – Tom Bell, Ben Ballentine, Jack Ellis, P4 – Killian McCandless, P5 – Sam Lennon, P6 – Ruben Heatherington, P7 – Cameron Uprichard.
Kicking competition: P2 – Toby Saunders, P3 – Joshua Colville, P4 – Killian McCandless, P5 – Alex Montgomery, P6 – Jake, P7 – Adam Matchett.
Following the P7 squads successful tour to Ayr, Jack Woods was presented the award of Best Tourist and all P7 players were given a momento to mark their time in the Mini Section.
