Successful day at Ophir 7’s!

A somewhat successful day at Ophir 7’s for Antrim RFC some really great performances and not to forget the true determination and grit from the guys. Antrim brought a strong team both young and old, a total of 10 players (plus an extra just incase). the lads were a credit to the team not to mention Craig McIvor with 5 tries to his name on the day and Darren Crooks for his team comradery.

The team consisted of the infamous Manson brothers Richard and Neil, Darren Crooks, Cathal McSorley, Gavin Wilson, Craig McIvor, Ben Siri, Michael Duncan, Richard Walker, Ryan Miller and William Smith.

All four of Antrim’s games were highly contested and it was just down to the lack of training as a full group that let the Antrim side down.

I would urge that all players that want to see the club do well this year get themselves down to training on a Monday and Thursday night ready to go at half 7.

Antrim Mini Rugby!

Starting from the 8th of spetember Antrim RFC will be once again running the mini rugby! This time hoping to have 3 different age grades! So get your boys and girls down and get them entered into the teams.

The mini rugby is to help get children interested in rugby and give them something to look forward to throughout the week wile being active and fun!

Boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 10 are welcome!

If you are interested or would like more information get in contact with someone on the Antrim RFC Facebook page! Also look out for flyers and advertisements coming soon!

Ulster Games

Bus trips to Ulster home games with Antrim RFC!

A great idea has come to the mind of the one and only Dave McKee, we are looking for interest for those that would like to go watch Home Ulster games. Prices for tickets are £13 for friendlies and £17 for Rabodirect games!

At the minute buses are priced at £12 for a 30 seater or £11 for a 16 seater, we would hope for the 30 seater to make it a great annual thing with the club to get the team bonded even stronger and to obviously support the mighty Ulster men!

if you are interested please get in contact with myself or Dave McKee on facebook so we have an idea of numbers of interest thanks! SUFTUM
