There might have been 60-70 teams there! Ulster had 7 teams but managed to get victories across the board (we think) but also finalists in two ALL IRELAND FINALS both immensely well played finals. + 4 semi finalists!!! We have a very high standard of tag in Ulster & finals are wild cards, almost uncallable and both teams with a different bounce of the ball or a different rest period inbetween and who knows.

All credit to all the teams from all the provinces, and the winners of all the categories – the day was immense, the people all brilliant craic and the atmosphere was excellent.
The Ulster teams did us very proud indeed and took their place in the ALL Ireland Finals with the best teams anywhere! Competed at the highest level and bring home great memories.
For example the tournament winners Panthers actually have coaches, physios and go on tour to Europe to play in tag tournaments, they are a very good side and only beat Ullster’s Mengal Tiggers by a try try or two – What a game that was! One of these days!
Everyone was brilliant and the standard just keeps getting better, Wolfpack (last years ALL IRELAND Champions who decided after staying up nearly all night to just have a fun day were great sports) , City Church, Mengal Taggers, Rollo Pollo, Lurgan Lions, Racing Club de Ballyclare, The Crew
Wingdingers ~ Take A Bow – you were all superb.
Gutted the season is over – but at least the girls have the QUB Ladies Tag Festival to look forward to in September.
Special edition InTouch TV Highlights to follow – and we will see you all out and about and next season – The best tagging season ever – and what an ending it was!
