We arrived near the end of the first half the scoreline was 6-3, Ulster fought back and got a well deserved penalty to bring it 6-6. We had the ball for less than 8 minutes in the second half and the final scoreline was 13 – 9 to us! We had the ball for 8 minutes in the second half because this Connacht side battered us with everything they had, their U20s had won the night before against us in what was by all accounts an amazing game. So the momentum was with Connacht, they were very up and making noise and it was their ground with home support. Everything in the mind was against us, except one thing and that was 20 minds focusing on one thing the man in front, re-organising all the time and fighting completely with everything. We face an enemy next week who has all the momentum with them, all the play has been going their way, all the belief is with them and the victories and the final game is in their home ground and they will have a good lot of support there. But we’ve won 2 as well you know. We won two games based on one thing – focus. Yesterday WE WON. When we go to Donnybrook, they face free men.
