Since its establishment more than three decades ago – firstly as The Armagh Bacon Agency – Pinkerton’s has been firmly focused on providing excellence in its products and its unparralled service throughout Northern Irelands wholesale trade sector.
Today Pinkerton’s delivers its renowned range of fresh pork and meat products to customers in all sectors including hotels, butchers, supermarkets, symbol groups and wholesalers across Ireland.
Pinkerton’s have a policy of only purchasing their pigs directly from local farmers and so our customers can rely on the very best in fresh, quality meats of only the highest standards.
The Pinkerton’s Plant is fully EU standardised, using HACCP Quality Systems.That system coupled with Pinkerton’s ethos of only buying from trusted local farmers ensures the highest quality and traceability for you and your customers.
Curing

Pinkerton’s is proud of its unique recipe and methods of curing great quality ham and bacon. Perfected over decades it is a closely guarded secret but part of the secret lies in the time we take. Devoting several weeks to maturing the products in order to develop Pinkerton’s great taste and one of the reasons people come back to our products time and time again.
Sliced Bacon
Curing is just part of what we do at Pinkerton’s and our expertise certainly doesn’t end there. When the curing process is complete our specially trained staff slice the range, everything from back to middle and streaky.
Bacon is either packed in standard packages from 200g to 2.27Kg, or we pack to your own specification. We also routinely slice to the specification of chef’s in Northern Ireland’s leading hotels and restaurants.
Sausages
Pinkerton’s Pork Sausages are produced from fresh lean pork, cut daily and made using our own finely balanced recipe. The basic ingredient has been unchanged for generations and the ingredients are as simple as they are wholesome. What makes our sausages so special? We reckon it’s the unique blend of professionalism and pride we bring to their creation.
