Ballymena II XV did not let themselves down, they played good rugby and are a very good side. Ballynahinch II Xv where quite simply awesome, and thoroughly deserved the victory at Ballymacarn Park on Sat 11th December.
Ballymena arrived at 12 and within half an hour where running through their game plan on the training pitches. Professional and disciplined many of these players will surely progress to the ranks of the senior squad. Ballymena have a young squad running through the I & II XV and this must surely bode well for thier future.
Ballynahinch II are now in the final of the junior cup! Facing Armagh that promises to be one of the games of the season.

Throughout this game Hinch turned over ball, produced sustained attacks running through many phases, setting up the scoring opportunities and taking them. Intelligent play and superb skills produced some brilliant socres and very well executed pattern and rugby skills bringing victory.
