Our 1st xv faced a talented Old wesley side on saturday in terrible conditions. Many a Queen’s team over the years would’ve fallen foul of the driving wind and rain, but this years team has shown the ability to grind out results built on a fantastic defensive workrate. Yesterday’s tries were individual efforts fromRitchie McMaster and Andrew ‘D’ Butler, earned after multi phase defensive work from the whole side. Next week they travel to Cashel in what will be a stern test of their promotion chase.
