Malone win a 5 point victory against Old Crescent
Malone returned to winning ways after last weeks disappointing performance against Midleton, they played some excellent rugby to win at home against Old Crescent by 33-14.
They led by 15 – 6 through tries by David Halliday and Paul Emerick and 5 point from the boot of Josh Pentland.
Paul Emerick added his second try in the second half and late into injury time Johnny Burgess made a long dash for the line to secure the vital bonus point. the remainder of the points came from the boot of Josh Pentland and Johnny Rowan.
The visitors cored two penalties in the opening half and a try and a penalty in the second half.
This lifts Malone to 4 Th. place in the AIL 2 table.
