Danske Bank Ulster Schools’ Cup/Medallion Shield Round 1 Draws 25/11/13.
The draws for the first round games in the 2013/14 Danske Bank Ulster Schools’ Cup and Medallion Shield competitions took place at Ravenhill on Monday 25th November. Coaches and players from participating schools were welcomed by Mr Stephen Black, Principals’ representative on the Ulster Branch, as well as by Mr John Robinson, President of the Ulster Branch. Mr Ivan McMinn, representing the sponsors, Danske Bank, spoke to all the school and Ulster Rugby representatives present at the draw.
Mr John Robinson and Mr Ivan McMinn, assisted by Ulster Rugby player, Stuart Olding, conducted the draws for both competitions. As usual, there were some very intriguing games as a result of the draws.
