The International Rugby Board has announced that the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2014 pool allocation draw will be streamed live from Paris, France, next week.
The draw will take place at Hotel de Ville, Paris, on Wednesday, October 30, with the broadcast beginning at 11:30 (GMT +1).
With less than a year until kick-off, anticipation and excitement is already building ahead of the pinnacle of the women’s Game. Champions New Zealand will be eagerly watching to see who they will be drawn against as they look to retain their crown in Paris next August.
The tournament takes place from August 1-17, with matches played at FFR Marcoussis, and the semi-finals and final played at Stade Jean Bouin in the French capital.
IRB Chairman Bernard Lapasset and FFR President Pierre Camou will be among those in attendance at the event, at the invitation of the Mayor of Paris. France captain Marie Alice Yahé and England’s Danielle Weatherman, who starred in her country’s performance in 2010, will be among those on hand for the live draw.
The event will be streamed live on www.rwcwomens.com from 11:30 on October 30. More information on the show piece event can be found on this site in the run-up to #WRWC2014
