With the new season just around the corner, the u17s travelled to Armagh for a friendly on Sat 7th. Monaghan field a fairly young team with 10 of the team coming up from last years u15s. There were also some new faces in: Caolan Boyde and “Bro” from Spain, also good to see Jamie Smyth and Kevin Brannigan back. When they are going to compete against the bigger players in the premier league, they will have to improve on their fitness and 1st up tackles. Best for Monaghan were Caolon Boyde, D. McGregor, D. McConkey, J. Smyth, J. Graham, K. Brannigan and K. Murphy
