Since Allan Clarke has come back home to ULSTER RUGBY the professionalism, the passion, the desire, the skill, dedication and success of all the players that enter the Elite development squads has multiplied atleast 100% and that is only the start. Producing elite athletes is of course helped when you have the best rugby players in the world to work with, to quote one of the players “we start with the basics”, man on man, focusing on the opposition, they will try to run crash balls, they will try dummmy passes, they will attempt to confuse us but when we focus on tackle/hit/push back and annihilate them through man on man and focusing deeply on having the split second reaction to attack whats in front so that each man beside us and each player becomes one dominating force on the pitch that attacks and stops them in defence they wilt under the pressure and we move forward down the pitch as their attacks come to nothing because of the work we are doing then we move forward and cross the tryline no matter how much it takes or matter how easy it is.
