Laird Contracts Limited was founded in 1981, by John Laird Tweedie, it is now operated by his son, Managing Director, Jack Tweedie MCIOB. The company is based in Bangor, Northern Ireland and carries out a variety of quality construction work in the North Down, Ards and Greater Belfast areas.
Our Aim
We are a small, family operated organisation and are not constrained by the corporate systems and hierarchy of our larger counterparts. We therefore provide a flexible, friendly, yet still professional service. Our focus is not on volume of work but on quality and attention to detail. With this reputation we have secured a significant amount of referred and repeat business.
Our Work
Our portfolio is diverse ranging from domestic extensions and renovations, sympathetic restoration of listed buildings, ecclesiastical work to bespoke high specification dwellings and commercial projects.
We typically work in close cooperation with Architects. We have developed good working relationships with a core number who repeatedly invite us to tender for projects. We are also interested in forming new relationships and we hope that our Website will provide the portal to do this.
