St Mary’s counteracted a strong Cooke defence using a penalty to their advantage when Niamh Fitzgerald converted.
In the second half following a strong passage of play a worn down St Mary’s defence resulted in a penalty converted by Cooke’s Lucy Fegan.
With the scores tied Cooke took the lead with a debut try from Grave Davitt which was converted resulting in a well deserved victory for Cooke ladies finishing 10-3.
