Crucial win for Ards 1sts at Hamilton Park against Armagh in All Ireland League!! 3rds lose narrowly to Armagh 3rds.
Ards 1sts secured 4 points in a well deserved 11 -7 win over play-off chasing Armagh.

Ards 3rds lost 14 – 6 to Armagh 3rds; Ards had to play most of the second half with 14 men after losing centre Stevie McKee to injury.

Swimming Success!!

Congratulations to Ards P6 Mini Rugby player Luke Graham in becoming Irish breaststroke and backstroke champion in Galway recently.

Rugby Force
Last call for Ulster Bank RugbyForce; Ards RFC urges local rugby clubs to register to win £5,000 with Ulster Bank RugbyForce.

Ards Youth players representing Ulster!!

Ards Youth players, Ben Orr, Oliver Glenn, Benji Marsh, Alex Gaw and Matthew Warnock. all started for the Ulster County Development squad last week.

4 players are members of the U17s squad and the other is in the U15s, some of these players only started playing rugby last season.

With some others from the U15s still involved in the Development Squad it bodes well for the future of the senior sides at Ards.

Many of this years U19s are moving up to Senior Rugby and the likes of Jack Coulter, Jack Mathews and Andy Bates playing up the club when the U19s have no game can only be good for the future of rugby at Ards.

15 out of the 20 players involved in Saturday’s 1st match v Armagh in the All Ireland League progressed through either the Ards Mini or Youth conveyor belt….surely a testament to the importance of age grade rugby at Ards.
