Current squad members Ashleigh Baxter, Nikki Caughey (both Belfast Harlequins), Grace Davitt (Cooke) and Amy Davis (Blackrock) are joined by newcomers Fiona O Brien (Cooke), Jemma Jackson (Queen’s University) and Stacey-lea Kennedy (City of Derry).
In addition, nine Ulster players have been invited to the Irish 7’s training camp to prepare for the World Series Competition in China at the end of March. Current squad players Baxter, Davitt, Caughey and Davis are joined by five new Ulster teammates; Nikita Armstrong, Shirelle Wilson (both Cooke), Jemma Jackson, Imogen Porter and Gemma McCutcheon (all Queen’s University).
Former Ulster players Lauren Day and Larissa Muldoon, now playing for the Irish Exiles, have also been recalled to the Irish training squad for the Six Nations, while Larissa will also be involved in the 7’s camp.
