The company which is now run by John Joseph Hanna started its’ origins as a bespoke tailoring firm in Donegal Town by the late David Hanna in 1924. It is now in it’s third generation with his daughter Eleanor Hanna strongly marketing it’s products across the globe. That age-old tradition of bespoke tailoring has played a major role in the transition to our current range of handcrafted headwear. One only has to pick up a ‘Hanna’ hat or cap to see that the quality tailored look has been retained completely.
Hanna Hats of Donegal are unique as all of our styles are cut to patterns designed by Hanna Hats and assembled by hand at our factory in Donegal Town. We use the finest Donegal tweed (pure new wool) woven exclusively for us.
