About
The creator of ThatchFace was diagnosed at age 21 with testicular cancer whilst at university. He underwent an operation and cancer treatment whilst preparing for his exams and had chemo when he turned 22 to cure the remaining cancer that had spread to his groin. This is when he also met his wife and they have (miraculously) got a young son – something they had resigned themselves to never happening for them. When he was given the all clear but he made a resolve to do something with his life that would “give back” to the men’s cancer charities that helped him.
Earlier this year, “ThatchFace” was launched – a selection of oils for men with beards. Sat around their kitchen table a couple of months ago, they began to experiment with different oils and scents to create the current range of ThatchFace beard oils. Using only natural ingredients, and focusing on a single-minded mantra of subtle scents and lightweight oils, they aim to provide better beard care suitable for all thatched faces.
