The Royal School, Armagh teams had a successful outcome to the opening games of their Canadian Tour. The 1st and 2nd xv’s took on the Regina All Stars U19 teams having had little time to recover from their long journey from Armagh. The pack laid the foundations for the 1st xv win with Matthew Clarke and Thomas Johnston working hard to secure ball at the breakdown area. Backs such as Alistair Wright and his brother Connor, in tandem with Stuart Hooks and Darryl Reaney, took advantage of the quality possession to run in tries from all areas of the pitch. The 1st xv won their game by 42-19 with Andrew Black taking the Man of the Match Award. The young Royal School, Armagh 2nd xv played really well to record a 70-0 victory against a very physical Regina All Stars team.
