Malone stunned high flying visitors Corinthians with a bonus point victory. malone obtained their bonus point with tries from Darryl Maxwell, Johnny Burgess, Shane Kelly and Ryan Wilson, the remainder of the points were down to some excellent kicking from Josh Pentland.

Malone who finished the opening half 14-3 ahead and those of us who were at Terenure last week-end paused to remember what then occurred.
These thoughts were however banished from our minds when Malone took control of the second half displaying some great attacking moves but the highlight for me was their magnificent defence which the visitors tested on a number of occassions.
The Malone line stood firm untill late into the second half when the visitors crossed the line for a consolation try.
This was a well deserved victory and all players from 1-22 took up the challenge and produced some of the best rugby witnessed at Gibson Park this season. The final score was Malone 31 – 13 Corinthians
No visiting team will relish the trip to Gibson Park when Malone produce form such as was displayed today.
2’s win well at home against visitors Cavan RFC
Malone 2nd XV had an excellent win against Cavan in the Conference League, most of the action happened in the 1st half but the home side went on to win by a big margin 49-0
