Travelling through Fermanagh you will find Ballinamallard just outside Enniskillen on the way to Omagh. While working on a special feature on Enniskillen rugby Club we discovered a fantastic local butcher shop run by Andrew Burleigh which has been supplying Enniskillen Rugby Club with all its meat. If there is one thing we know about in rugby clubs its good quality meat and Andrew has some superb cuts to offer of all types.
His shop has been there for some time building up a reputation for quality and he is a member of the Master Butchers and also is one of only two butchers to be awarded the top standard in the local Fermanagh Quality Assurance Awards.
We met up with him at the shop and were delighted to find out that there is a family passion for breeding livestock (the first thing i thought of was Rory Best & his prize winning Hereford Cattle) and indeed Andrew directed me to two recent accolades picked up in connection with his son Alan Burleigh and nephew Mathew
