Ards 2s 43 v 26 Grosvenor 2s
Ards run in 7 tries against Grosvenor.
Davy Chivers men continue to impress albeit with their ‘cavalier’ style of rugby when they outscored Grosvenor 2s by 43 points to 26 on Saturday.
From the start, Ards almost scored through Stevie McKee after some well controlled forward play released the backs to be held up just short of the opposition try line.
Minutes later it was another McKee who did cross the line in the shape of Adam, to get the scoreboard ticking over. Grosvenor responded as expected and ran in a converted try to go 5 – 7 up after 16 minutes.
Ards then turned the screw and tries from Stevie McKee, Taylor Nutt and ‘Kaz’ Kasarate, including 2 conversions from Nutt and Adam McKee eased the tension on the sidelines and saw Ards go into the break with a lead of 24 points to 7……. CLICK HERE for the full report.

Indiscipline proves costly for the 2s.
It was another frustrating day from the sidelines as indiscipline proved to be the governing factor as Dromore won this close encounter with the last kick of the game.
Ards had travelled to Dromore with a very strong squad and great expectations for a victory. But it was Dromore who started the more lively and were rewarded with an early easy penalty. Ards reorganised, and with Wilson spectating from behind the posts, Ards Kaz Kasarate, nipped in for a quick try just to the left of the posts after a tap and go on 27 minutes.
The forwards had everything wrapped up in the scrum and line-out, but the backs lacked a bit of penetration due mainly to niggly injuries to key players………. CLICK HERE for the full report.
