Ever find yourself feeling tired and a bit under the weather, or lacking that spark of energy to get through each day?
Well I certainly did and it turns out there is a very simple way to give your diet the extra nutrition it needs to boost your energy and support a healthy and well balanced diet… and its a food too! So no popping pills required.
Linwoods range of milled and blended seed contain lots of vitamins and minerals and those essential fatty acids Omega 3, 6 and 9 that most people think they can only get from fish. Flaxseed, which is one of the main ingredients in a lot of their blends, is high in Omega 3, which is great for those who are not fish lovers as they can still get their daily requirement of Omega 3 in just two spoonfuls added to their food.
I have been trying one of their latest additions to the range which is a mix of Flaxseed, Almonds, Brazil Nuts, Walnuts and Co-Enzyme Q10. I was so intrigued about the Q10 that I did a little research on this and found out that our bodies naturally produce Q10 but as we get older natural production declines and we need to supplement our bodies with this important enzyme and it contributes to the production of energy in every cell in our body! It is also a very high antioxidant which gets rid of the excess free radicals in our body caused by pollution, alcohol, smoke and everyday environmental changes.
I have been using Linwoods – Milled flaxseed, almonds, brazil nuts, walnuts & Q10 for 6 weeks and without a doubt I feel more energetic.
This in turn has really tuned me into the importance of diet. For years I was using protein drinks and shakes from the local sports store but recently I’ve started eating a lot more vegetables, and home-cooked food as well as the flaxseed products.
There is so much to choose from in the Linwoods range and many of the packs offer different health benefits, for example Linwoods Hemp is very high in Magnesium and Iron and Linwoods Flax, Sunflower, Pumpkin, Sesame and Goji Berry mix is high in Complex B Vitamins that are needed for energy metabolism and the nervous system.
I have been very impressed with these products so we have decided to get a few local rugby stars to try out the different products and tell us what they think too. Watch this space!
