Moira Equestrian Centre is a family run business situated in Moira, Co Armagh. It is run by Jim Allen and his son Paddy who offer a go as you please cross-country service seven days a week. The Allen’s farm is two miles from the Moira turnoff on the M1 and is very central to most people in Northern Ireland.
Our cross-country course, which opened on May 15 has been designed by Tony McMannon and Sonia Rowe and built by Norman Wilson of Norman Wilson fencing.
The mission of Moira Equestrian Centre is to allow people of all ages to come and school their ponies and horses in a safe and friendly atmosphere.
Paddy is a prominent member of Lurgan Rugby Club so a warm welcome is assured for the rugby fraternity.

Go As You Please cost: £20 (inclusive of VAT) per horse / pony. Discount given to large groups.
Pony & Horse Riding: A professionally designed and build centre is perfect for horse and pony riding. Enjoy the great outdoors and experience the fun and stay active.
Facilities: M E C offer’s a seven days a week service on our ‘Go As You Please’ course. M E C have eight showjumps 16 cross country fences at 3ft 3″, 2ft 9″ and 2ft 3″ heights and a water complex. M E C also has ample car parking space and a wash bay facility to wash down your horse or pony..
Available For Hire: If you are interested in what we have to offer you – why not come along and see for yourself . To hire please contact a member of staff and they will be glad to help. Also available for private hire for riding or pony clubs and anyone wishing to teach lessons..
