Over 200 5th and 6th class children from 10 schools were involved in the Donegal Town RFC TAG Rugby Festival organised by the Donegal Community Rugby Project.
The festival was part of the Primary school programme where the school are visited by the Donegal Project YDO’s to prepare the pupils and teachers for the TAG festival.
This is one of 6 festivals that youth development officers Adam Keys, Philip Brady and Jonathan Quigley will be delivering to the schools in the County over the next few weeks.
These festivals help create and strengthen links to the local clubs so that the young TAGGERS can take steps towards playing regular rugby on a Saturday morning.
Donegal Town RFC Mini Rugby section train every Saturday from 10 – 11am, all players and parents welcome.
