\nOn Saturday & Sunday 80+ Rugby Union teams in the province of rugby called Connacht will compete in some of the most skillful, intense and enjoyable games of rugby that you will see anywhere. What is at stake first and foremost is the opportunity to play a game that this country has played for over 100 years because WE LIKE IT. What is at stake in each game is the level of skillful play achieved by each team in what is very often one of the most intense and exhilirating experiences that any young man or woman will take part in for their whole lives. It is one of the best experiences that it is possible to have. We welcome any single person young or old, male and female to join with us as we move ourselves, our club, our province and our country forward by training and playing and coaching, officiating and refereeing this game.<\/p>\n

This week the Connacht SNR cup will see Buccs v Sligo, while in JlA\/B\/C a number exciting encounters especially based on recent results will be very interesting to report on in coming days as the results filter through the various channels. The womens league from which has emerged the Connacht SNR womens team who emerged this season to genuinely and seriously contend for the 4 provinces championship in a country which reached the SEMI FINALS of the WORLD cup after beating the 20 year unbeaten Black Ferns, will see NUIG, Tuam, Buccs and Castlebar women play an expansive hard fought and exiting brand of rugby to which spectators will be treated to. On Sunday, U14, U15, U16, U17 & U19 in games that we relish the opportunity to report on and watch. <\/p>\n
