Carrick players, coaches and supporters travelled to Headford on a lovely but somewhat cool Sunday morning. Both sides contributed to an entertaining and sporting game with Carrick winning on a scoreline of 36 \u2013 7.<br \/>\nCarrick started strongly with the pack taking control of the set pieces from early on. This dominance provided the Carrick backs with the opportunity to spread the ball wide to scores excellent tries.  Corrib pressed hard but found it difficult to break down the stern Carrick defence crossing the try line late in the game to score their only try.<br \/>\nTry scorers for Carrick were Brian King, Eoghan McLoughlin, Josh Young, James Honeyman, and Ashley Maziya. Shortt<\/p>\n<p>Irish Wheelchair Association Angel Day Nov 6th <\/p>\n<p>Carrick on Shannon Minis are asking coaches and parents to support the IWA Angel day on November 6th. The IWA are looking for volunteers to sell pins locally on November 5th and 6th. If interested please contact IWA on 071 9620569.<br \/>\nPins will be available for purchase at minis and youths training sessions on Saturday Oct 31st and Sunday Nov 1st. <\/p>\n<p>IRFU Your Club Your Country<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s that time of year again when the IRFU launches its \u201cYour Club Your Country\u201d nationwide draw.
