It&#8217;s about respecting the game, respecting your teamates, your opponents and most of all, respecting yourself.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Players should embrace the challenge of discovering just how good they can be!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/newsletter.irb.com:81\/CT00287402MTI4Nzg=.HTML?D=2014-08-09\">CLICK HERE FOR MORE ON KEEP RUGBY CLEAN &gt;&gt; &gt;&gt;<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Central to the mandatory education programme, players were shown a moving video featuring former Scotland under-20 star Sam Chalmers. Chalmers tested positive for a banned substance in the run up to last year\u2019s IRB Junior World Championship and was subsequently banned for 2 years.<\/p>\n<p>The full-back went on to tell his story to other players to encourage them to Keep Rugby Clean.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/newsletter.irb.com:81\/CT00287403MTI4Nzg=.HTML?D=2014-08-09\">WATCH SAM CHALMERS INTERVIEW &gt;&gt;<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The IRB spent the early part of the Tournament visiting each team to deliver an Anti-Doping Education Outreach session. The session focused on ethics and morality and included an interactive game which highlighted the negative emotions around winning and losing as a result of cheating.<\/p>\n<p>Rugby\u2019s values were prominent in the discussion and all teams expressed their desire that while winning is important, it should not come at the expense of the integrity of the Game.<\/p>\n<p>Keep Rugby Clean day will see all teams take to the field for their pre-match warm-up wearing Keep Rugby Clean T-shirts in support of the anti-doping initiative.
