\nWales coach Warren Gatland has revealed he and Ireland counterpart Joe Schmidt discussed team selection before naming their sides for Saturday’s World Cup warm-up match in Cardiff.
\nGatland has handed debuts to four players in an experimental Welsh side.
\nWales host Ireland on Saturday, before playing them in Dublin on 29 August and hosting Italy on 5 September.
\n“Joe rang me last week to talk about what we were looking at in the squad,” Gatland said.<\/p>\n
