Guinness PRO12 Fixtures 2015-16 <\/p>\n
An honour to have reported on Connacht Rugby Mens Pro12 team for a full season and looking forward very much to reporting on them in the 2015\/16 season. A superb squad and a team who have consistently achieved great results in recent seasons and who have been superbly supported by the community who support, encourage and enjoy the game. Glasgow Warriors will kick off the defence of their GUINNESS PRO12 title at home to the Scarlets, live on Sky Sports.<\/p>\n
With the GUINNESS PRO12 fixtures released today, all 12 clubs can begin to finalise their plans for the coming season, which promises to be another exhilarating one.<\/p>\n
The campaign kicks off on Friday September 4 with last season’s beaten semi-finalists \u2013 Ulster and Ospreys \u2013going head-to-head at Kingspan Stadium, and Leinster visiting Edinburgh.<\/p>\n
Scarlets go to Scotstoun the following day, while Munster host Benetton Treviso, Zebre travel to BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park to take on the Blues and Connacht clash with Newport Gwent Dragons on the opening weekend.<\/p>\n
The festive period sees the return of the 1872 Cup, with Edinburgh and the Warriors meeting at BT Murrayfield on December 27 and then again at Scotstoun on 2 January.<\/p>\n
And there are plenty of other local derbies across rounds 10 and 11, with four all-Welsh clashes, four all-Irish encounters and Benetton Treviso locking horns with Zebre twice in quick succession.<\/p>\n
The final round of regular-season action will take place across the weekend of May 6-8 but for the league’s top four sides, the run-in will have only just begun.<\/p>\n
Two weeks later sees the Play-Offs kick off, while the GUINNESS PRO12 Final will be the following weekend, when the champions will lift the coveted trophy.<\/p>\n
Note:The TV deal in Italy is still to be finalised therefore no specific details of Italian home matches are included at present. <\/p>\n
