Two 1st half penalties from in form out-half Eoin Cosgrove gave Tuam a 6-0 lead on the half hour but a lapse in concentration let the big forward pack of loughrea go over for a 7 pointer. Tuam had a couple of opportunities to go over the loughrea line but couldn’t turn there dominance in possession to trys,so it remained 7-6 to the home side at half-time…….
