A huge honour to interview former pro soccer player Ian Taylor who has teamed up with Bluechipworld Sales and Marketing Limited (BCW) to create the iT7Audio brand which includes products such as the incredible iT7x2 headphones as used by Beauden Barrett, Julian Savea, Dane Coles and TJ Perenara who play for the All Blacks, Hurricanes and Wellington Lions plus Delouise Hoeter who is a Tongan pro rugby league player signed to Wests Tigers.
The IT7x2 is an uber stylish foldable set of headphones which are a great item for trendsetting and sporty athletes,What was your vision design wise?Basically we wanted something simple to use good to look at comfortable and a lot less price wise and more affordable we wanted something affordable. The logo was partly designed by myself it incorporated the it and the 7 we wanted something different shape wise than anything else thats out there! I was quite hands on with the design and pleased with the outcome.How did you get involved?Obviously there is big sport connection with brand it7, I am current;ly ambassador for Aston Villa and was on tour about 3.5 years ago when the md of the manufaturing company Simon Hassell a big fan of Aston Villa he is md of bluechip world and he tied up a business trip watching Aston Villa we got talking after the event and he asked me to get involved and thats where it started.How is it going with the product?The feedback has been great we’ve seeded alot of celebrities and sportspeople with the headphones, and alot of these guys will not wear a product without liking it, so its given us great exposure and on the rugby side of things we have Beauden Barrett, Julian Savea, Dane Coles and TJ Perenara from the All Blacks plus Tongan Delouise Hoeter
How do people get a pair?We are in many outlets and lots of websites, we’ve just launched in America, Australia and are present in many European countries too.

I’ve got great contacts with the FA and commercially. For example we are involced with the England Cricket team, we supplied the England Soccor team for the Euros and the Cricket team for the Ashes and we have supplied xfactor contestants for the last 3 years.Many thanks to Ian for this time and we look forward to using the headphones!
