Northland first five-eighth Dan Hawkins has signed a one-year deal with the Melbourne Rebels.
Not long ago he was drinking double browns in Picton. Now Dan Hawkins has signed to play for the Melbourne Rebels.
The Northland first five-eighth couldn’t be more chuffed the Rebels have continued their raid on Kiwi talent to hand this self poclaimed “white battler” a crack at Super Rugby next year.
Entering his third season with Northland, Hawkins has secured a one-year deal with the Rebels, joining former All Blacks Adam Thomson, Tamati Ellison and Blues lock Culum Retallick at the Australian franchise in 2016.
