CONNACHT RUGBY MEDICAL UPDATE

Ahead of the Guinness PRO12 round 2 game away to Glasgow Warriors, the Connacht Rugby medical team provided the following update.

Kieran Marmion
Kieran Marmion sustained a hip pointer and was replaced after 14 minutes of play on Friday night at the Sportsground. The bruising had subsided by Monday morning but the scrumhalf will continue to be monitored ahead of the team announcement on Thursday.

Matt Healy
Wing Matt Healy suffered a haematoma to his left quad on Friday night. He was rested from training on Monday and will also continue to be monitored throughout the week.

Eoin McKeon
Back row forward Eoin McKeon injured his medial collateral ligament (knee) in round 1 of the Guinness PRO12 and is expected to be out of action for up to three weeks which should put him in back in contention for the round 3 clash with Cardiff Blues.

Dave McSharry
Dave McSharry has completed the return-to-play protocols following concussion on August 21st and returns to full training this week.
