Buccaneers RFC away to Malone in Season Opener

BUCCANEERS – as they did last season – kick off the forthcoming Ulster Bank League with a trip to Belfast; where they face Malone at Gibson Park in the opening round on Saturday, September 13th. Buccs first home game heralds the visit of relegated Garryowen to Dubarry Park on the following Saturday. September will be a challenging month for the midlanders with their third match is a trip to Shannon on the 27th.

Indeed Division 1B will be highly competitive this season with 9 times AIL champions Shannon joined by 3 times winners Garryowen. Coincidentally both legendary clubs were founded in 1884 and they are not accustomed to playing below the premier division. U.L.Bohemian too will provide another tough Limerick hurdle to overcome.
