Bordeaux-Bègles, who finished in seventh place in the Top 14 table, will meet the winner of Match 1 of the play-offs between Gloucester Rugby and Connacht Rugby to decide which club will secure the 20th place in next season’s Champions Cup.
Match 1 takes place at Kingsholm Stadium tomorrow and either Gloucester and Connacht will have home advantage against Bordeaux-Bègles in Match 2 on Sunday, 31 May.
Gloucester qualified for the play-offs by winning the Challenge Cup earlier this month and were awarded home advantage for Match 1 following a draw carried out by the EPCR Board. Connacht were the highest-ranked club in the PRO12 which did not qualify automatically for the Champions Cup.
