Barely there Buccs: Local rugby stars bare (almost) all for charity calendar
Introducing the ‘Buccs Nearly Bare Calendar 2015’, whereby the rugby stars of Athlone are showing off a whole new side for the year ahead.
Those at Buccaneers RFC have organised a ‘naked calendar’ to raise funds for their club and to their associate charity CONSOLE.
23 members of both the Mens and Womens squads bravely posed ‘nearly bare’ for stylish black and white pictures, taken by photographer Liam Kidney.
Console, a charity that deals with suicide and bereavement, approached the Buccaneers earlier this year in an effort to create awareness of their helpline available to people who may be suffering with a depressive disorder.
